Hrki at student blood donation

On December 16, 2015, a “big student blood donation” was held in the premises of the Student Center of the University of Zagreb. This is the largest student humanitarian action in the Croatian capital. The number of participants is growing every year and the expert team from Croatian Institute for Transfusion Medicine ensured that all goes smoothly this year as well.

Led by true Christmas spirit, students had the opportunity to help others in need. A small gift for all donors was free lunch at the Student Center. Official mascot and volunteers of European Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2016 came to give support to all students and to promote the Games.

This event has been organized for many years and hopefully will continue with this Christmas tradition. The co-organizers of this event are the Student Center of the University of Zagreb, Student Union of the University of Zagreb, European Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2016, Rotaract Club Zagreb 1242, Club & Lounge “Roko” and 11 other student associations in Zagreb.
