The third meeting of the Executive Committee at European Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2016 was held in June 30th 2015. The members of the EC submitted the report on important activities carried out during the recent period.

One of the most important activities was the organization and implementation of EUSA conference in Zagreb in March 2015. As all European and international professionals were gathered at the same place, Zagreb became a center of university sport.

The most notable sport events were the Students Sports Day – held all across Croatia, the International Rowing Regatta Sv. Duje in Split and UniSport Finals in Porec. All events were held under the support of EUG 2016 and were in step with the “WARM – up” program.

The EUG 2016 took part in organizing the first Water Balloon Challenge held in June in Zagreb. It also supported numerous sports events such as Judo Grand Prix, Regatta Fiumanka, Homo si tec, Sports News Cross and many others throughout the Croatia.

Representatives of EUG 2016 are currently active at the European Universities Championships and at the Summer Universiade in Gwangju, what can be seen via social networks.

In last period, EUG 2016 launched three new projects – program UNIVERZ-I-JA-DA in cooperation with HAMAG BICRO for student entrepreneurship incentive, Exclusive Business Education partnership with Cotrugli business school, as well as installing the EDUROAM wireless Internet in Zagreb, Rijeka and Opatija in cooperation with SRCE.
