Successful Bike Trial Show in Zagreb

Association of Students of the city of Zagreb organized a bike trial show at the Olympics village of the European Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2016.

Athletes who performed tricks and jumps on their bikes attracted a large crowd in a matter of minutes.

The bike trail is one of the mountain bike disciplines; athletes have to do as many tricks as possible on their bikes without their feet touching the ground.

‘I have been practicing bike trail for about 15 years and I already participated in European cups. Last year, I reached the final of a competition in Italy. The pinnacle of my career so far is the second place at the European Championship,’ said the 28-year old biker Matiša Britvec.

Bike trial is very risky due to high jumps and complicated tricks. Therefore, bikers have to wear protective helmets.
