Letter from Minho: Excellent work and organization of the Games

As we are nearing the end of European Universities Games 2016, many competitors whose tournaments ended left us and returned to their homes. But they have left a lasting mark on the history of Games and on the organizers.

It is beautiful when the sentiment is mutual, so this letter from Michael Ribeiro, coach of the football team of the University of Minho, who won the football tournament at the European Universities Games, made us very happy. We want to share it with you:

“On behalf of the University of Minho, I want to thank and congratulate all the organization of EUSA GAMES for the excellent work and organization of the games. It was undoubtedly an unforgettable experience.

I want to thank and praise the effort by the organization so that nothing lacked the teams and athletes.

It was indeed an excellent organization, where nothing was missing and everything was excellent (transport, food, residential and fantastic conditions for the games were realized in the best possible way)

In 2015 we were in Osijek and everything was perfect and once again it happened in Zagreb.

Again I leave here my sincere thanks on behalf of the University of Minho, on behalf of the team and athletes.”
