Cardinal Bozanić holds reception for EUG delegation

Archbishop of Zagreb Cardinal Josip Bozanić held a reception on Monday, 23 May 2016 at the
Archbishop’s Palace for the delegation of the European Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2016
(EUG 2016).

President of EUG 2016 Mr Zrinko Čuštonja and vice-president Mr Gordan Kožulj, as well as the
representative of the Media Board Mr Dražen Maleš, were part of the delegation, and the moderator of
NDS rev. Marko Kovač, the commissioner for the Office of the Pastoral Care of Youth rev. Ivan
Valentić, and the commissioner for the Office of the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Tourists rev.
Anđelko Katanec were also present at the meeting.

The attendees discussed the different types of collaboration between the Archdiocese of Zagreb and
EUG 2016 about satisfying the spiritual needs of contestants, delegates, and other participants of the
Games.
