Take a selfie with Hrki with the help of the new EUG2016 application! The EUG2016 application for Android and iOS was released today with the aim of providing all the necessary information about the European Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2016 which start on July 12th.

The application enables users to follow the latest news and announcements, as well as everything that was written about the Games on Twitter under the tag #EUG2016. The app’s simple overview makes it easy for users to check the event schedule, even allowing them to add the most interesting events to their calendar so they wouldn’t miss them. There is a list of all the sports halls in Zagreb and Rijeka which will be used during the Games in order to help first time visitors to Zagreb or Rijeka to get by more easily. The application also gives general information about the European Universities Games themselves as well as the EUG2016 mascot Hamster Hrki.

What makes the application special is The Hrki Camera™. Users can add Hrki in various poses to their photos and then share them on social networks. This way Hrki can be everywhere in every moment and on every photo during the Games.

The application is available for Android and iOS and supports Croatian and English. The application was developed by a team of students working as a part of the UNIverzI-JA-DA project organized by the HAMAG-BICRO agency. The team was composed of Petar Šegina and Stanko Krtalić Rusendić, students at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Luka Perić from the School of Design and Marko Božac from the Faculty of Economics.

Whether you are coming as a visitor, a contestant or simply want to be informed, the EUG2016 app will keep you up to date.
