News - EUSA Sports Manager makes final check of the EUG sports program

EUSA Sports Manager Patrik Peroša made a final check of the sports program of the European Universities Games Zagreb-Rijeka 2016. This was the reason for holding the final meetings between the EUSA Sports Manager, the EUG 2016 Sports Committee and the Games technical delegates in Zagreb on July 16th and in Rijeka on July 17th. The topics of the meetings included checking the organizational arrangements of all 23 EUG sports and adapting to the needs of the media.

The meetings’ conclusions were optimistic and very motivating, especially due to the facts that these Games are the largest in terms of the number of sports disciplines and competitors, and that they have outshined all the previously held Games in the organizational sense as well.

The delegates of 16 sports which are to be held in the Croatian capital participated in the meeting in Zagreb. All present were greeted by the President of the Sports Committee Danira Bilić, while the meeting was led by the EUSA Sports Manager and the Head of Sports Operations in Zagreb Luka Leško.

The delegates of 7 sports participated in the meeting in Rijeka, and the meeting was led by Patrik Peroša and the Head of Sports Operations in Rijeka Gordana Bastiančić.
