EUG 2016 at University of Zagreb

On Tuesday, October 27^th 2015, the EUG 2016 OC held a meeting regarding promotional, marketing and educational activities of the European Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2016. The meeting took place at the Rector’s Office at the University of Zagreb.

The Vice-rector for Innovations, Technology Transfer and Communications at the University of Zagreb, Ph. D. Miljenko Simpraga, welcomed the President of the EUG 2016, Mr Zrinko Custonja, EUG 2016 Executive Board member, Mrs Romana Caput-Jogunica, EUG 2016 associates, member of Sports Office Davorin Babic and members of Public Relations Office at University of Zagreb.

The subject of the meeting was enhancing the presentation and promotion of the EUG 2016 activities within the academic community, especially at University of Zagreb and among students. European Universities Games will be presented via official web pages of the University of Zagreb, along with the student media of the Faculty of Political Science. A special working group will monitor the EUG 2016 activities at the University of Zagreb.

The EUG 2016 OC will present their activities at the University of Zagreb in order to provide better connection with the European Universities Games and to attract greater awareness among students on this important sport event. This will also motivate students to participate at EUG 2016, either to compete or volunteer.
