News - Cotrugli Business School – providing educational and advisory support for the EUG 2016
Cotrugli Business School, with their knowledge and experience, provides educational and advisory support to the organizers of the European Universities Games 2016. Just like the Games combine education and sports, Cotrugli Business School combines business and education. By strengthening human capacities, offering continuous education, and actively supporting the planning, implementation and supervision of particular processes within larger projects, the school makes sure its attendees gain all necessary knowledge and skills for managing a non-profit by business principles and processes.
Cotrugli Business School is a leading business school in South East Europe. Their centers in Zagreb, Belgrade, Ljubljana, Sofia, and Luxembourg cover the markets in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia, and Romania. The offer of the Business School is centered on MBA programs, which represent the world standard of post graduate business education. All MBA programs offered by the School have international accreditations, and over 10 thousand people participated in their programs.
The School bears the name of Benedetto Cotrugli, a 14th century bookkeeper from Dubrovnik who was the first to describe the principles of double-entry bookkeeping. In his 1458 book ‘The Art of Trade’, he emphasized the importance of individual development and warned about the need for ethics in business. Therefore, the School’s mission is to help develop high quality ethical leaders who will be able to deal with complexity and constant changes, but also make positive changes in their organizations and in society as a whole.

“Without Hamlet” is an award-winning play that explores what would happen to Hamlet if its protagonist took a day off. Whilst turning the world’s best-known tragedy into a comedy, the performers still pay hommage to the great work by citing its best quotes and putting the work into a modern-day context.
