News - EUSA representatives impressed with renovated student dormitories

EUSA (European University Sports Organization) Supervision commission visited Zagreb on February 3rd and 4th 2016 as part of inspection visit for the upcoming European Universities Games 2016. Among various activities during their two-day stay, they visited the reconstructed accommodation facilities at the Athletes Village “Stjepan Radic”. Given the fact they saw the condition of popular “Sava” before the reconstruction process, they did not hide their satisfaction with final results. They expressed their gratitude due to large infrastructure investments driven by hosting the European Universities Games 2016.

However, the focus of their stay in Zagreb was to get familiar with the progress that has been made from their last visit in September 2015. All Departments within the EUG 2016 had the opportunity to present their activities, as well to announce the upcoming projects and answer to all EUSA’s questions.

EUSA representatives who visited Zagreb are members of the Executive Comitte, Mr Kemal Tamer and Mr Arie Rosenzweig and Kemal Tamer as well as Secretary General Mr Matjaz Pecovnik and Sports Director Mr Patrik Perosa.
