News - Passing by: Dancing Romanians looking forward to a swim in Rijeka’s sea

Who says you have to wait till the evening to go dancing? Three Romanian players from the University of Alba’s women’s basketball team broke out in a spontaneous dance in front of the headquarters of the European Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2016 in Zagreb while waiting for their bus to Rijeka, where they will compete in the 3×3 basketball tournament.

Marta Fodor was not in the least bitter about her team’s defeat against the University of Zagreb in the finale of the women’s basketball tournament.

“The Croatian team was better, but we will get the chance for rematch at the next Games,” Marta said.

They are looking forward to visiting Rijeka, not just because of the tournament, but also because they will have the opportunity to take a swim in Rijeka’s sea.

“We’ve heard so much about your sea, and many recommended Opatija as a great swimming destination. We can’t wait to dance at the beach, too,” Marta added.
