First technical meetings for EUG 2016 competitions held

The general technical meetings for the competitions starting on the first day of the European Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2016 were held on Monday, July 11.

The meetings for basketball, rugby, chess and karate were led by EUSA Sports Manager Patrik Peroša, the head of the GOC for Zagreb Jelena Matešić, and the sports’ technical delegates.

On general technical meetings, the participants and the rules for each sport are determined, and a draw determines the schedule for the start of each competition.

Not all competitors in karate were present at the technical meeting today, so the draw was postponed for tomorrow morning.

The technical meeting for rowing was also postponed.
