European Universities Games are the largest multi-sport competition in Europe, and a media platform that will mark a milestone for further development of Croatian university sports.
SponsorshipDuring the european Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2015, between 1,500 and 2,000 volunteers will live a unique experience in this great cultural and multi-spors event. Volunteers will be the backbone of the organization.
VolunteeringGames opening in:
Each participating University team representative must be present at the GTM. Head of Delegation and coach are entitled to represent the University team. The NUSA representative can also represent the University team, if officially present at the EUG.
If team or its representative is coming to Croatia on the day of the GTM, in order to catch the GTM, University team representative must be accredited till the early afternoon hours.

Organized trainings are possible one (1) day before the competition and during the competition. On the last day in team competition only finalist will have possibility to train.
On the day of the GTM – 11th of July
Training schedule is attached for teams coming on the 10th of July. Please check and confirm your schedule.
Applications for trainings are open for teams coming on the 11th of July. Please check the attached form.
During the competition
Training schedule will be set automatically at the GTM. Changes of training session time – which will be set in advance, will not be possible. After the GTM, teams must confirm training time schedule. Teams which don’t confirm training time schedule assigned at the GTM, will not have possibility of training. Due the Opening Ceremony, there are no trainings on 13th of July.
On the day of the GTM – 12th of July
Training schedule is attached for teams coming on the 11th of July. Please check and confirm your schedule.

Zagreb-Rijeka, Croatia: July 12 – 25, 2016
The 3rd edition of the European Universities Games will be held in the Croatian cities Zagreb and Rijeka in July 2016. Sport featured are Badminton, Basketball, Basketball 3×3, Beach Volleyball, Bridge, Chess, Football, Futsal, Golf, Handball, Judo, Karate, Rowing, Rugby 7’s, Sport Climbing, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Volleyball and Water Polo. Two of the sports – Table Tennis and Swimming – will also include competitions for students with disabilities. Apart of the sports competitions, the Games will be accompanied by the Rector’s Conference, educational side-events, cultural program and other activities.
