First trainings: Footballers of the University of Montpellier aim for the gold

‘This team can go far. We have three professional players in the team who play for Montpellier, and I believe in them,’ said the coach of the French women’s team.

After arriving at Zagreb, both men’s and women’s team of the University of Montpellier had their first trainings at the football field in Špansko.

The captain of the men’s team has one goal only: to win the first place at the Games.

‘We arrived at Zagreb very late and didn’t get a lot of rest before this training. I play in a very good team and I’m happy to be here. We have one goal, and that is to win the gold medal. We won’t settle for anything less. The atmosphere during the training was good and I can say we are ready.’

At the same time, the women’s team, just like the men’s team, had their first training before the start of the competition. Their goal is also the same, to win the gold.

The team captain, Monique, knows how to motivate her team, and she is ready for all the challenges that await them at the Games.

‘We are ready, and I can’t wait for the competition to start. We believe we are one of the best teams at the tournament, and our goal is to win the gold medal. We will fight to the end, and we hope that the end result will be excellent. We have a very good team and nothing can stop us on our way to the top.’
